The University of Nottingham is celebrating after being awarded 138 postgraduate studentships to support research in the arts and humanities over the next five years.
The award, estimated to be worth in excess of £5 million, from the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) will fund 82 PhD and 56 Masters studentships in 16 subject areas across the University’s Faculties of Arts, Social Sciences, Law and Education.
Feedback on the bid said the University submitted compelling evidence that it provides excellent planning and delivery of high-quality postgraduate research and training in the arts and humanities.
